I own a Melon Collie and the poor dear can hardly run. My neighbour’s Big Balled Bulldog is quite fond of her. I can hardly wait to see the pups.

Is this about Sue Ellen from the nighttime soup, Dallas? I think the main baddy was married to a Sue Ellen, did you get that in England? I'm probably completely wrong and Sue Ellen is used simply because it rhymes so well with your yet again amusing limerick, man, you never run out of limerick wit that to me is always a hit.
