STORYTELLER

Situation and Circumstance Walking through a storm feeling afraid On that very day, I was among a storm full of lightning, Thunder, winds and pouring rain It felt like Heaven’s rage on the Earth It came to mind a cleansing Being in the middle with no shelter to run to nor go under I felt danger A voice unspeakable, but knew it was far away and said “Don’t be afraid I won’t harm” It was a voice certainly wasn’t human, but there was a message Heaven’s calling I knew the storm I had to go through and withstand A God’s kingdom test The outcry of mysterious The mind seemingly just being curious Lightning flashed and the Thunder continued to crack in echoing distance sounds Inner and enter felt like a rush All I could do was just hush and be silent I saw numerous lightning bolts simultaneously being everywhere at the same time in streaks I witnessed it all It seemed like a reminder in never be afraid, but always assured Soulful overcast, but never alone When I finally got home, my Mother asked me how did I make it through the storm? She was worried, but saw my face showing inspired My response, God has ways and understanding becomes education Lesson never forgotten Able to weather any storm being an actual storm or storms of life.
