Story of My Life
I am lost inside,
I don't know where to hide.
How do I get out of this Mess,
I witness death.
I feel dead,
All these thoughts inside my head.
I try to smile,
But it's been a while.
There is nothing left of me,
Yet I plea.
I try my best,
But I am only a pest.
I wake up everyday,
But have nothing to say.
I spend my time alone,
With nowhere to call home.
Happiness feels so far away,
Getting farther everyday.
I don't sleep as much,
I am afraid to be touched.
I try to forget my Past,
But it keeps coming back.
I have changed,
I’ve experienced pain.
Why do I dream,
If I’m afraid to live the dream?
Would the world be better off without me?,
How about we see?
I try to act like I care,
But it's just not fair.
I say I'm fine,
But I’m dying inside.
They think I'm tough,
It’s just so rough.
I'm slipping in school,
No way to be cool.
They think I'm a badass,
There is a reason for my sass.
What they don't know is that I'm turning to ashes.
I am too deep,
I’m losing sleep.
Nobody knows me,
They just let me be.
I get made fun of,
What have I done?
I hide everyone from the real me,
They wouldn't still see me the same.
I try to talk,
But I don't want you to walk.
You say you will always be here for me,
How could that be?
I don't know what to do,
Where do I go?
Nobody knows how hurt I am,
Frankly they don't give a damn.
Everyday is a mystery,
I'm just lost history.
Hope you are all happy
This is what you did to me
This is me
