STORMY WEATHER

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ubergeeks huddle at cracked screens~ forefront of the gale stamps rooftops into drums. sky bleeds indigo then bruises black a puck of hail cracks the bus shelter glass. wind doesn't howl~it translates. pine tongues lash at power lines. rain stitches the river to the road. one lone bird rides the updraft on a dare. then~lightening forks the clouds~ roots seeking soil.
Whether Heavenly or humanity, storm events affect us, but how do we deal with them? Nature causes a stream to overflow its banks, or nurtures it and sends it down the bed where it is dry. Humanity should deal with the storm during a let-up and let go, so that you can be a better you, my friend, Aloha, William.
I like the snapshot and the work that goes along with it. That was some storm, and I bet it was at least a little frighting. Sometimes just a common rainstorm can be quite unsettling and do quite a bit of damage. Thanks for sharing this one with us. Sara K
Hello Sara, some people are afraid of lightening and thunder. i would not take a shower when it is thundering. My bathroom does not have a window. when the lights goes out i am in darkness and in the wrong place. Hugs. /Darlene/
Hello Sara, I never shower during a thunder storm. My bathroom does not have a window. so when the lights are off I am in the dark. Hugs., /Darlene/
