Stormy Night
A stormy night along the rugged shore
The wind bows down in homage to the sea
Below the ancient cliffs huge breakers roar
unleashing Neptune’s anger, tinged with glee,
to shatter rocks asunder, breaking free.
But morning gives lie to the night just gone
With gentle lapping waves to greet the dawn
