Stormy And The Christmas Tree

The Christmas tree stands
Ready for the lights
Then some ornaments
To place on branches
The large ones and small

On the low branches
Ornaments are placed
Now enter- Stormy
The blubs she bats
Slow with her front paw

The low ornaments
They are removed
Now paws the tree skirt
Is removed from the tree
The floor is bare now

Now she chews the branch
Shei s nudged away
It makes me wonder
Why stormy did this
I ponder my thought

What the reason is
Her first Christmas tree
I ponder my thoughts
This makes sense to me
It is the first Christmas time

She saw a Christmas tree

Thanks for the relevant, timely write, Darlene! I had a cat growing up. Our cat used to drink out of the bowl that kept our real/natural Christmas tree moist, making the tree dry out and lose needles faster. I think many cats are simply fascinated by a Christmas tree. It sounds like you're taking some good steps to ensure a safe home, cat, and tree. Merry Christmas, and very best! Bartholomew

Hello Williams Bartholomew, You are welcome. I am very watchful when it comes to my cat. When I sense she is near danger, i chase her away from the area. I do not want her to be hurt or sick. Right now i am trying to find the right time to crochet. When she is awake I am crocheting she is after my wool. When i am feeding her she will not give me the chance to put the wet food into her food bowl.

Implement cat-proofing measures to keep both Stormy and the tree safe, such as securing the tree to the wall and using cat-safe ornaments. Cat-proof your home for the holidays.
