Notes About The Poem

Written August 19 2026 for contest The Beautiful Impossible sponsored by Sotto Poet

Storm That Teaches Peace

Trust in the Lord with all your might
Follow His word as your guiding light

For you will have times that are dark
Let the lamp of love lighten your heart

In your weakness He will make you strong
Power in His uniqueness to carry you along

Despite dilemma that prunes you like rose
He will remember you and keep you close

For He told Peter do not to be afraid believe
To walk on water in a storm that teaches peace

So it is for you to believe as you walk in life
He will deliver you He will answer your cry

He will make a way out of no way
Smiting your enemies saving your day

Like woman with an issue of blood, yes sir
Twas her great faith in Him that saved her

Let life’s storms teach you how to believe
For He is King of Kings He will bring peace
