Storm and Rain

Sitting by my window,
Free from misery and pain;
Embraced by serenity's immortal rule,
At peace with the storm and rain

Nature's woven its dreary loom,
Cloudy skies are an angry gray;
Nestled in solitude's comfort,
Fear is my fallen prey

Sitting by my window,
Nature ceases to refrain;
The Lord is my guardian angel,
At peace with the storm and rain

I especially like the last stanza. Keep me safe til the storm passes by. Keep writing. Sara
