Stop Lying

Lying to our self The fruits are a product of the tree It’s so obvious That’s the tragedy Our body tells a story That the lies can never hide You can repeat it all you want However; lies only fuel a troubled mind So stop lying to yourself There’s beauty in the truth When you practice what you preach The life you live will be the proof Honesty is the answer To curing this self-inflicted disease Self-compassion Stop lying – and the truth will set you free
