We all must reach some middle ground. Quit being selfish and ignorant. No one party is always right. See the light.
Stop a Minute
By Franklin Price
1/18/2018
Stop a minute every day
And drop down to one knee
Without the anthem playing
To give thanks that you are free
That you may worship as you please
That you are not a slave
That you may protect your home and self
And even rant and rave
That you're living in America
Can say and do most anythng
You may even say our president
Is a raving, tweeting, ding-a-ling
Just think about how much you know
With every day, a tweet or two,
Don't complain that you are unimformed
He's sending them to you
When he tweeks about the fake news,
Do you believe the news or him,
Does he interest you in finding out
Which of their wits are dim?
Are you for him or against him?
Do you want him in or out?
Does his tweeting keep you interested,
Or make you scream and shout?
While you're down upon that knee
Ask God to give us sight
Especially the tweeting president
So he'll lead us to the light
Pray for all the Congress
To find a solid middle ground
Or this country, as we know it,
Will no longer be around
