Stolen Seconds
Secreted burst of time so short
One would wonder, was it naught?
Gamma Ray Bursts so mysterious
not long ago,
Now understood, what next shall we
know.
Looping tendrils of coronic waves
Not the usual solar way the sun behaves
Neutrinos, neutrinos....
Do you add up?
Or is your existence,
A useless empty cup?
Or are you like the ocean;
A hydrogen hydroxide molecule
of no significent importance
Till nature, through happenstance,
Collects seventy trillion quadrillion
such molecules, powered to 10x10x10
And power and beauty unimagined
Come forth in their needed yen
So much to learn, we must,
As we are barely above cosmic dust.
