Stoic Stance

Laboured breathing and bones weary
Yet vibrant heart, far from dreary
Gentle eye, echoing love’s sigh
Soul’s stoic stance, seems so eerie

To be as such, fear forms must die
That flag of love and light flies high
Poised, irrespective of outcome
Mantra of life being, retry

Within heart continues to strum
The gong of Om, God’s cosmic drum
Bliss magnetism pulsates inside
Music of spheres does softly hum

In the vast void, to wingless glide
Breath by breath, enjoying the ride
Free from cravings of lower mind
Face smile dressed, always dignified

Childlike innocence, brave and kind
Playing life’s role, as is assigned
Heart prayerful, thoughts beautiful
Is with all existence entwined
