Stillness of Night

As nightfall wanes over the hills To trail away, in quietude My calm eyes watch a hollowed view Evanescing into dusk’s edge. Night Silence Contest, Nayda Ivette Negron 6/14/2016

I love this Nette! You have captured twilight stunningly and your poem is a favorite of those posted. It is number one in my opinion because of the spiritual feelings it evokes. Brava! Congratulations on your high most deserving placement! 7+ ; )

What a wonderful prelude to nightfall! I love crepuscle and your images were wonderful. For me, Nightfall also brings in memories of bats flying out for the night. Congrats on your wonderful poem and win, Nette. ~karam~

So beautiful, I imagining being at that very moment, with someone beside, enjoying the beauty of the stillness and the silence. hugs!
