Stillness in Storm
In the garden after rain,
each leaf
holds its small cup of mercy
to the light.
The soil, softened,
receives what roots have long been reaching for,
this quiet conversation between earth and seed,
the way understanding grows without force,
how love asks nothing but,
opens like morning into what was always there.
