Still Standing

It has equipped with opportunities
It has moulded with realities
I t has grown with maturities
It has conquered with honour

It is sweet as the red grape
It is sour as the lemon juice
It is angered as the lion
It is big as the buffalo

It has received praises, still more to come
It has lived, still living
It has given love, still loving
It has been around, still exists

I really like the fact that you use 'it' instead of I or something like that. I also like the it isn't negative at all, although it's a heavy theme. I loved experiencing the journey throughout the poem, until the end 'still exists'. I think it's perfect to end with that. It's very short but all-saying. The title really helps me to understand the deeper meaning of the poem, and I think it really fits. Please keep writing. I like your style and I hope to read some more poems from you.
