The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Still Looking

With the winds of change blowing strong across our land,
It’s time for American Christians to unite and make a stand.

The politicians all lead their merry chase,
Acting more like little children as they head in to home base.

They all holler I’m going to do this, I’m going to do that.
They’ve all had their chance in the senate where they sat.

So what makes them think as president they can do anymore?
These things they promise we’ve all been promised so many times before.

To get our vote they just say what we want to hear,
Till they get in office and we start realizing our worst fears.

Of all the good and honest people in this country of ours,
Surely there must be someone worthy to take on these reigns of power.

So fellow Americans we need to turn to God in prayer,
And ask Him to put someone there for us that will really care.

It is time for change but right now our choices are bleak,
We need someone who will stand up for this country, and make it strong and not weak.

Return God to the throne, and let Him have the final say,
That’s what I pray for, I ask it this day.
