STILL HOLDING MY OWN
STILL HOLDING MY OWN
There once was a broken sink
The repair cost makes me think
Much porcelain gone
Shards to step upon
It’s taking me right to the brink
Broken pipes and a dented junction
At the time, I felt no compunction
As I vented my spleen
I had kept it so clean
But at least it has limited function
The cause of the damage is known
To replace it, I might need a loan
Collective rage, I am sure
Hammers found on the floor
But then, I’m still holding my own
