Still Around

I had cancer a while back and at last year's Thanksgiving I threw a football and I could barely send it a couple of feet After a tasty Thanksgiving feast this year I picked up a mini football and played catch for about 45 minutes And man, did that feel good!

I have a 7 year old child that I babysit WHO is recovering from cancer, she is finally able to get back out and play with other Miss and just enjoy being a child again. we went outside to dig worms so she could feed my turtle. While digging she looked at me and said " Joanna this is the funnest days ever, I havent played outside in a Long time" It truely is the little things in life we take for granted. This simple poem brought me to tears. Congradulations on your health and keep writing.
