The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

"still"

Recalling time when I,
Used to believe LOVE was
A phantasmal power.
Conquerable of every
Possible obstacle,
That would always sustain
Unquestionably.

Experiencing more
Than my fair share of
Disappointments and
Failed relationships,
Encrust bitterness.

Questioning love
And uncertain
Of everything
That’s meaningful.

Look to faith,
Searching My
Own beliefs.

You are
With me

Still.

We all have our disappointments. It's what we do with them that counts. Keep that faith--God always sees us through the tough times. This is an inspirational poem. Thank you for sharing it and for your kind comment. Best wishes with your writing!!!! Karen

Written by a cool cat with talent. It's nice you have a companion. Did you mean a particular individual?
