Stifling

Respite
From boiling sun
Stealing my breath from me
My heart pounds as the heat drains me
Perspiration drips onto the hot ground
I sit quiet and dream of a breeze
Dark clouds gather above
Perhaps by night
Respite

We are now in the middle of winter, and it is too cold outside to experience what you have described above. However, you have described it well with your wording. This is a good rictameter.
