Sticks
Glue sticks stick together paper
Chop sticks might stick food in your mouth
Lip sticks bring attention to lips
Chap sticks make sure they don't go south!
There are drum sticks to beat a drum
And some known as finger lickin'
A tasty treat to make all smile,
Except of course, for the chicken!
Some sticks we don't miss very much
Like stick ball a game that we had
Or bad smell coming from a skunk
Oh wait, that is a stink, (my bad!)
Some known as a stick in the mud
May be hoping not to stick out
Sticking with it may yield reward
"Stick it!", you hope no one will shout!
A walking stick helps with your gait
Sticks and stones won't break bones of mine
Keep those sticks and hope they're not stuck
Any place where the sun don't shine!
