Stevland Morris is the real name of Stevie Wonder Though blind soon after birth it didn’t push him under Exceptionally talented performer from a tender age Virtuoso musician and singer when he's on a stage ‘Little Stevie Wonder’ at the age of just thirteen Achieved a number one hit on the music scene Now he has a star on the Hollywood Hall of Fame Detroit honored him with an Avenue of his name Many songs Stevie’s written over last fifty years ‘Overjoyed’ is a favorite, its lyrics bring me tears Recording on Tamla Mowtown he’s a multi talented man Right from my early years I’ve been a massive fan I’ve seen him in concert twice he really was amazing Stevie Wonder is incredible, his music I am praising! You have penned an incredible acrostic Jan and I am sure it will be another top placement for you. I saw Stevie in 1972 when he performed at The Dome in Brighton - he was fabulous and so inspirational and I have been a fan ever since. Good luck Jan, with kindest thoughts Ann xx

When I was a little girl, my cousin brought "Fingertips" to my house and played it for me. Wow! Steve Wonder is truly a wonder and an excellent lyricist too. Wishing you success in the contest! (Nice to donate the money to Dorian relief efforts in the Bahamas!) Love, Carolyn

He was only 13 when he had a number 1 with fingertips, as for the prize it would be far more use to those in need than for me in the UK, so in the event of a win it will benefit them:-) hugs Jan xx

Hi Jan, You did a great job with this write. I never had the chance to see Stevie Wonder perform live and in person, however he's one of my favorite singers. He is so talented but he also has an amazing heart he gives back to different communities in the inner cities constantly. I hope you place in the contest. It's definitely a winner in my book. Well done, I remember watching some of his earlier performances on a documentary. He’s a talented guy. I also like your foot note regarding the prize money.

I love that song Chris lol he wrote it for his daughter - I've read he's been married 3 times and has children by 5 different women. Regarding the money it just makes sense to me - we have so much those poor people only have the clothes they stand up in:-( hugs Jan xx

I actually liked 'the secret life of plants' not one of his most popular ones but there are several tracks I really like. I don't know the track you mention so I'll look it up:-) hugs Jan xx
