So innocent
so small
in such a big world
not knowing yet what lays ahead
how things are going to change
his little smile
brightens my day
and shows me it's okay
and there's always a way
his curiosity
has such sincerity
everything is so new
and to him
the world is beautiful
and to have this child's eyes
and see the world in his way
that everything is an adventure
then you'd want to wake up
to experience every day
