Steps In Life

Those boots have walked to life
through many different steps
looking back I wonder
at the meaning’s in the rests

They say that life is made
of many different things
blessings and the like
others bring bad dreams

They come in many forms
on page and through the air
sometimes when unlucky
bastards arrive in pairs

Now I don’t mind to venture
long into my dread
but when a thought is tested
crumbles does my head

Why do these tests belong
a life we fate to live
to teach us how to learn
and show us what to give

Minding of thinking
musings
brought revived
sometimes crying off
feeling things I’ve lied
never wonder longing
the field of make believe
the best thing of revision
makes true life revealed

These boots may walk this life
rolled in front of me
steps are in the eddy
and thought is flowing freed
