Stepping Out
with love i step out of darkness,
with love i'll step into the truth,
i'll press forward through all my uncertainties even when i feel confused,
breaking down all barriers of heartache, continually accomplishing loves
purpose,
for i know what is seen on the outside, usually never matches what's below the
surface,
sometimes it's impossible to see loves beauty, it tends to cower and back down,
you want to say what's in your heart, but you truly don't know how,
i cannot hide my spirit, being it's the most sensitive part of me,
not sharing it only stifles my growth, i'm so curious to learn new things,
the still solitude of his peacefulness, the power of his spirit, like rushing winds
blow,
on the roads of crossing, we reunite in unison, through pain and suffering what
love you've shown,
these tidal waves of burdens you've covered and loosened from lifes grip,
you've taken me with a new desire, a new path along life's trip,
resting on love's promise, peace surmising sadness,
trusting in knowing he delivers my heart by replacing hurt with gladness.
