Stem

A love that stems from the highest heaven
His hand reaches out to hers
Hoping to draw her attention
Draw her close to him

A feeling so strong that can't be explained
With hope that she feels the same
Expression, not words only shared
Her eyes dance with joy

Commitment that stems from sharing life
No room for fear in disguise
Quietly lays her head on his shoulder
The season stands still

So hard to tell what true love is
A burden deep within me
That stabs and twists me in confusion
My eyes burn in fear

So responsibility stems for a will to hold
Onto her life I do not want to lose
Might as well cherish every moment
For love will never die...
