Staying and Always Repaying
There is no way I can measure
All the hurt and daily pressure
You take from me every day
You have a special sweet way
And uniqueness that helps me
Not break from insanity
That comes right out of the blue
I'd be lost if not for you
When my world is full of dread
Your heart opens up to spread
Love and laughter that I need
I just give in and concede
Into your arms I am held
As my troubles start to melt
Into a puddle I'll forget
My heart will never regret
Making you a part of me
All my life I will decree
That my thankfulness shall grow
I will not give up and show
My gratefulness to you each hour
With the strength and extra power
That I find inside because
All the extra healing love
Your unselfishness supplied
Making lonely tears I cried
Leave the day I bumped into
The man who would make black skies blue
Sheltering me from the rain
And easing the piercing pain
That will no longer exist
With the magic of your kiss
