Little orchid please don't go
I love to tend your garden so
To shower you with thoughts set free
In rhymes of floral poetry
To caress your petals with a kiss
Of gentle whispers, spoken bliss
Yours in essence, if not real
Hearts together, unrevealed
Kindred spirits in shadow
Little orchid please don't go

For even though I love you so
I will stop, I'll keep it in
Reset the boundaries once again
In conflict you will live no more
I'll keep my thoughts behind the door
Tell me that you'll stay with me
And I will change my ways, you'll see
Concealed in love to fertilize
