Stay the Remedy
He's the remedy to the heartbreak I face.
He's the best friend I could never loose, the one who didn't stray, but stayed longer then I thought.
He kept reaching and looking out for me when others didn't.
He's the safe haven I run too when the darkness comes.
He never tried changing everything I was because, he fell in love with it all.
He was honest when it came to me, loved my all flaws when I didn't love myself.
He's the forbidden love who never drags me.
He never left me hanging by a loose thread like past lovers.
He made a choice that wasn't his, I never despised him for it.
He's my remedy to the heartaches I face.
If he should become a heartache, well, I'll never stop loving him when he's my greatest love.
