Stay Silent

At times l want to divulge Though l will never reveal The absolute truth Honest and real It is not easy staying silent Yet l know it is a must Knowing it serves no purpose So, in silence l shall trust Its difficult …l do want to share When l witness certain things Knowing it serves no purpose I stay silent and enjoy the peace it brings!

Silence is golden for a reason dear debx, and i know what you mean i feel the same and wish to say more but sometimes i just choose peace over the hassle of voicing or addressing what concerns me. But it also depends on my mood. If its during certain times of the month, i might not be very silent haha. But tbh, i always choose silence when upset, i think it is the best at times. Sending you light always. Pleasure reading your work

Dear Deb, they say (I don't know who exactly..) "silence is golden". Perhaps it was from the pesky Victorians as they clearly were not fond of children (into mills, up chimneys and the like) and forever wanted them to shush .. however, back in the room, the context here is valid , Deb. A secret is a secret. Silence has a power of it's own - you convey this with honesty.. but now we are all wondering - is it something about me? x

So true Deb. Many times it is just better to keep our mouths shut. But so darned hard to do. I tell people who want to tell me a secret, "don't tell me anything you don't want the world to hear because with my memory I will forget it was a secret."
