Stay Gold

Stay Gold

“Life is but a twinkling of an eye”—Stevie Wonder

There will never be another me. You
know no one will talk with the intention
to stand out with the intention the you
intended all along. Your reflection

is yours, and unlike any other piece
of gold investing worth to worlds with good.
Bronze can garnish a country equally
As gold, sold, borrowed, broke souls have withstood

being forgotten. Then you realize
eternity was never about you
but what you showed each day was precious like
the sunrise rebuilding its value. You

are still a priceless treasure, a gold man
who refuses to sink into Time’s sand.
