Station Information But Not About a Haitian
STATION INFORMATION BUT NOT ABOUT A HAITIAN
For example, take that man over there
Or this woman who’s standing right here
You don’t know who and what they actually are
Perhaps, as did I, they spent all day in a bar
A tavern where the barkeep keeps secrets well
And forgets what he heard at the final call bell
that fourteen year old might have fourteen bags of meth on him?
Alas, these imagined images undoubtedly are growing dim
See that little old lady in a wheelchair,
The one the well groomed gray and white hair?
Well she may be forty with heroin up her ass
But to cops looking like a little old lady gives her more class
So instead of just waiting for a bus or a train
Train your eyes on the prize, which is my brain
Because street smarts were supposed to pay off BIG TIME
And I’d ask that lady for some of what’s up her ass but I ain’t even got a dime
