State of Emergency

We got another storm yesterday third one in less than a week, it's a repeat of last Winter the days are looking rather bleek. Another storm is on the way over a hundred thirty centimetres so far, running out of room to put the snow people trying to shovel out their cars. No parking on the streets is allowed or the vehicles will get towed, snow banks are getting very high at a stand still we are, with snow covered roads. The winds were extremely high last night light snow being whipped around, freezing temperatures and being blinded while snow quickly fell to the ground. Snow drifts in the yard grow higher with every storm, I am staying in the house where I can stay toasty warm. Maybe I can close my eyes tightly and not watch the storms pass me by, hope Spring will show up soon while the drifts keep reaching for the sky. Copyright © Cynthia Jones Feb.3/2015 Our city called for a State of Emergency last night and it's lasted all day today. The city just put the grader on my street a few hours ago. A lot of the city streets, are only down to one lane driving. The weather is calling for another 2-5 centimetres tomorrow and another Nor' Easter comes up behind it, for Thursday and Friday. Another 40 centimetres or more is expected for those two days. They've reported it could last a week or more.

Wow! It sure feels cold over there, Cynthia!! You paint a chilly winter atmosphere. Luckily we never have that type of weather here in Malta (Europe) and we do not get snow. This month has been rather cold, but nothing compared to yours! Hold tight...spring will soon be here:) All the best. // paul

Here in our town in the mid-west, we have no storms, they passed north of us on their way east. But we've been watching on the news. Our thoughts and prayers (sympathy too) are with you. Great job of writing about it.

Sorry to hear of all the snow . . . here in Texas we are dry . . . to dry. We need rain -- even take some snow to get the moisture. Adversity builds character . . . you have that in abundance . . . much love and light. 7

David, I'll send you all the snow you want, can handle and more, if you would like. LOL You can have it!!!! I've heard about the droughts you guys have been getting in Texas. That's "Global Warming" for ya though. It shouldn't be so hot. Thank you so very much for taking the time to stop by to have a read and leave a comment. I truly appreciate it. *S* Cynthia

You must live in Canada... the Maritimes perhaps! We here in Southern Ontario were getting off pretty lightly until a few days ago but still under the average! My condolences! LOL Spring is a-coming! Hang in there... loving hugs, Jack XOXOX
