State of Agony Dec 28 2010
Every direction I turn,
leads me down a dead end street.
My eyes are misleading, my heart misguiding,
I surrender to my defeat.
I am trapped in my own head,
I can't get out, it's like a maze.
Around one corner, then it leads me back to the beginning,
this goes on and on for days.
Escape if I could, I won't even try,
the price to pay would be to steep.
Paybacks they come at double the price,
for sure my life he would keep.
Locked away, protected from the pain,
it's too much for me to bare.
such foolish words you speak,
with such a nasty glare!
