Stars of My Hope
Twinkling in an empty sky
Emerging even when the dawn
Puts in a misty face
Heralding the birth of another day
Even in this jungle.
Here again begins my journey
While outside my hut
Here in the open space
I in upward gaze see
A lone-mirthful star
Sitting calmly in his misty azure
Symbolising peace.
Then I see another here
Another there
Manifold stars like guests
Feasting on my star of hope.
