Stars and Superstars
Once upon a dark night, there was seen a shinning and sparkling star in the distant sky. She was clearly observed, but there was not a sound; and neither of us even said "Hi".
And so star-struck and overwhelmed was I, that her size I could not describe. As so many of them do, she was traveling very rapidly toward her demise.
Once upon a cold and early dawn, there could be seen the morning star. It was a quiet and pleasant view toward the end of the Vietnam war.
Many years ago, I caught myself staring at a Christian superstar. It was not close enough to shake hands, but not at all very far.
Yet another morning, to my delight, I met upon a sports superstar. I simply said "Hi Charles", and didn't have to wonder, "Who you are".
And also, over a sun-setting horizon, on a holiday, appeared an evening star. She soon smiled and made room for the moon, as we watched from our car.
