Stars

Bright in the sky

they twinkle, spark and shine

but if you listen carefully,

you can hear their soft whine

Wondering what made them sad,

I went about listing it -

the star-lighter might not have come,

so some stars may not have lit

They probably lost all their power,

or perhaps started to decay.

some new stars might have found that

they had completely lost their way.

Running out of options

I decided to move on -

and when I saw the moon arriving,

the stars were happy as a fawn

So walking up and down,

they spread joy by their birth

but the sun started to rise

in the midst of their mirth.

They probably lost all their power, or perhaps started to decay, yes Sneha fact is that stars decay like anything else in the universe. Have you read the stories of cosmos? "but the sun started to rise, in the midst of their mirth". poor stars. Sweet poem...I have added your poem to my fav list. You have got a perfect 10. ...love...R

" Wondering what made them sad, I went about listing it, the star-lighter might not have come, so some stars might not have lit" that phrase, or whatever you call it, is original, unique and so beautiful, enjoyed very much!
