Stars

STARS

Star light, star bright,
first flare I see tonight,
star spangled lights
on the Eastern horizon.

Out there somewhere,
is a normal PX world;
out beyond the horizon
and further yet beyond
multicoloured skyward flares.

I wish I may, I wish I might,
not find Charlie this night.
