Notes About The Poem

Stardust of Wonder

Sieved stardust of wonder fell
                from heavens above
              as we foxtrotted under 
          a charmed moon at twilight.  
                    A kaleidoscope 
         of mesmerizing sights abound. . 
                Bright stars were out
                     by the billions! 
          We lay supine and watched 
             one dart across the sky.  
         Then we attentively listened
         to songs of the hermit thrush 
                    while savoring
              the refreshing night air. 
                  We were blissfully 
                 serenaded to sleep!
