Stardust Memories

"Stardust Memories" Theme of our college dance. The dance card in the walnut hutch now rests. My date's handwriting, still alive in it. Pink, sparkling, decades old, the wristlet dance card is. Filled with sorority sisters' names. The band's name, so classy. The Tam O'Shanter Country Club. A night of tuxedoed, gorgeous young men. And their beautifully gowned young women. Dancing softly under tender lights. The spring breezes, so fragrant. You and I, kissing in innocence under silver moonlight. Nights like this never do end, the music still sings in me, Caressed by today's sweet winds, And my heart's forever feelings! * College Days~ Memories of Loyola University, Chicago"         August 17, 2020           8pm PST

You are sooo right. I happen to love this one, also! It is exactly a snapshot of that youthful night. The dignity that we no longer see in our world which has turned to a love of savagery in music, dance, dress and social milieu..I carry this night, locked in my hearts chamber. Thank you for FAVing this. In writes like this~ I can honestly call myself a poet. Gratefully, Pangiexx
