There is something about the stars that holds us in their trance. I know that I am still enchanted by them... Your tender lines in this wonderful poem have the same affect. Nicely written, Daver!

This is amazing, as is your usual everyday self. I'm sorry I hadn't written, but Lord knows I had tried. Joe sent me a program virus, via his secretary whom I do trust. It had total control over my computer, and Daver, he hadn't been able to keep the Fiddler's Cat, but he has many others now that were not posted online.:( Animations too, and a few illustrations. The total control he had always wanted...sucks!!!!!!!! Love you, he has my sign in info here. Keep well. Mikki :)

So! You have poems not posted on-line? You are so secretive, Mikki. Joe sounds like a control freak. Is it the Joe we both know? I never got that idea of him, but then we all have a secretive side. Good to hear from you. Hugs-a-plenty. daver

Hi, nette. Glad you liked my star-splash. Amazing! If one watches the heavens for a long spell on a clear night, there are dozens of shooting stars to see. Love, daver

When I was a child, and the desert air was still crisp and clean, the milky way looked like a cloud and we would collect 'stardust' on white paper plates on our rooftop. This brought back those memories! J.
