Starboard Saints

starboard saints
rowing ridges over
trembling tides, we're
brewing boulders topped with
wintery whitecaps
sinking slowly, we whisper
defeated dirges to the
abyssal plains

There seems to be a hetoic hum in this dirge to a new depth Riverbank. I like the surreal quality to this poem. J.A.B.
