Star People

Our origin is heavenly;
we are made of stardust
scattered in the heavens.
Stars are so much like us-
bright, beautiful and powerful.
Sadly, we have forgotten
our cosmic heritage-
today we underestimate ourselves,
making our bliss dull in glow.
The stars twinkle above us,
hoping that one day we shall
remember who we are....
