Star of Zelda

The aura of wonderful grace
   Perfected by intricate poise
Only to mesmerize everybody
Of her beauty, love and devotion
And unmistakable royalty.

She only enters
To experience the flora and fauna
Of nature’s bountiful surroundings
   As she perches herself
Positioned beneath the branches
   Of the blue rhododendrons,
And to connect with people
   Who adore her so.

Her fondness of playing
   With every thing in sight,
A twig, a branch with leaves,
   0r a ladybug,
Even sitting in the bird bath
To greet all of the chickadees.

Those special qualities,
   Her independence, her lively spirit
And her spontaneity,
   She had the ability
To make laughter present
   In the eyes of those
Who loved her so tenderly,
   Always and forever!
