Star Magnolia

Star Magnolia in the winter cold
Can you give me any hope to hold

There on your branches, buds of silver
In this cold, I feel them shiver

But they are giving me a shred of hope
That soon spring will surely kaleidoscope

Lovely Couplet and one of my favorite shrubs. Mine grew so big I had to remove it as it was growing onto the road and becoming a beautiful hazard. Thank you for your comments on my entry in Matt's contest. Love, Joyce
