Star

Oh joyous star
                           You appear
                           every night
                             outside
                          my window
                   like a flickering candle

                     Bejewelled, Beauty
                       I cannot ignore
                   your passionate flame
                         begging me
                          to Awake
                              and
                         Adore you

Reads as if you are describing Sirius, the alpha star of the constellation Canis Major.
