Standing Tall

In my prime, I stood tall. A beacon to every call be it from big or small I showed the light to all. Out of date I stand amidst this very sand, No longer am I manned Yet in every selfie I am Grand. Poets write about my past beauty Glad I did my job when on my duty. 24-Dec-2018 Lighthouse Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Eve Roper
