Standing In Water
Standing in water beginning to rise
Over my knees now past my thighs
What have I done here? Beginning to drowned
Everything that goes up, must come down
I’m drowning in water, I’m drowning in shame
I’m drowning and I’m the only one to blame
I ‘m drowning in water. I’m drowning in guilt
I’m drowning and there’s no way out
Suffocation I cant breathe
The only way now to escape me
Letting go of the past
The only way I will last
I’m drowning in water, I drowning in shame
I’m drowning and I’m the only one that’s to blame
I’m drowning in water, I’m drowning in guilt
I’m drowning and there’s no way out
Running away is all that’s left
Hiding away, what I do best
Doing wrong is all I know how
There’s no good left in me now
I’m drowning in water, I’m drowning in shame
I’m drowning and I’m the only one that’s to blame
I’m drowning in water I’m drowning in guilt
I’m drowning and there’s no way out
I’m drowning in water and there’s no escape
No escape from me
