Standing

I have stood next to a hospital-bed
Felt sorrow

I have stood outside a hospital
Felt lost

I have stood inside a hospital
Felt at home

Sometimes what we do can mean more than how we do it
Sometimes how we do things can mean more than what we do

I have stood next to a hospital-bed
Realized that

Today I will lie down on the table
The table I have stood next too

The table I have stood next too
Looking down

Looking up
Realizing that
