Stand Strong Girl

Stand strong girl And never back down You've finally had enough And you're holding your own You don't need anyone Especially not a man To define who you are It's time to make a plan What is it in life That you've wanted the most Success, love, maybe wealth Or just to take it easy and coast After living in shadows Of every man you've let in It's time to feel the sunshine With your face to the wind Do not fear the solitude Weren't you already there In a room full of people Wishing someone would care It's ok if they don't get it Or find it hard to engage This isn't about them More so it's your rage You're mad that you've settled You're pissed they took aim Intent on destroying you So you'd feel the shame Until enough was enough And you fired back Now they can't understand Throwing it all off track What they'll never see though Was you there all along Just taking their bull Shows they were wrong So stand strong girl Do not be afraid You were born for this fight It's just how you were made
